Jyll K. Green, ANP

Jyll obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the Mennonite College of Nursing in Bloomington, Illinois. After moving to Alaska in 1999, Jyll worked in the Emergency Rooms and Intensive Care Units at Alaska Regional Hospital and Providence Alaska Medical Center. She also worked as a flight nurse for Life Flight and Aeromed.

In 2004, Jyll earned her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Alaska Anchorage; she conducted her Master’s research on the outcomes of gastric bypass surgery. Her clinical interests are family practice and immediate care, with a special focus on hypertension, diabetes management and travel medicine.

Christy D. Potter, ANP

Christy obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree form the University of Alaska, Anchorage in 1992. As a nurse she worked in a variety of settings including oncology, home health, coronary, and intensive care.

In 1999, she completed the Family Nurse Practitioner program earning a Masters of Science degree from the University of Alaska, Anchorage. Since graduating Christy has worked in primary care, the emergency room, and the hospital. For the past nine years she has focused on treating clients with cardiac and pulmonary problems. Christy joined myHealth Clinic in January of 2009 full time as a nurse practitioner.

Christy has a special interest in fitness. She has worked as a group fitness instructor and personal trainer for the past twenty years.

Advanced Nurse Practitioner defined by statute as "a registered nurse authorized to practice in the state who, because of specialized education and experience, is certified to perform acts of medical diagnosis and the prescription and dispensing of medical, therapeutic, or corrective measures under regulation adopted by the board."
